I have tried to burn with
Fujifilm DVD+RW

I have also tried to get an image from a bought dvd and a music CD and that failed to.(plain error message)
Another problem is that the arm stops for a moment at the right position but moves on and drops the disk outside the place it is supose to.
Any thoughts on this.

Dear Mikael - A shop bought DVD will never work due to copyright protection. Please try to copy a CD onto a CDR. Kind regards.

Hi Mikael - When the arm moves and drops the disc outisde the machine, it indicates the disc has failed. The machine will seperate all burnt discs into a "successful" and "unsuccessful" bin. Does the machine you are using have USB 2.0? Kind Regards

Dear Mikael -
Please download a UDF test image or ISO here, then test BAXTER to check recording is working ok.
Also be sure you are using USB2, an XP host and –R or +R not RW media as a test.

Thank you for your replay.
I have now done the following tests.
1. moved the test image(iso) through the network to the local computer and then burned the file to a CD-R disc.
status:no error
2. Put a data CD-R disc with 600 MB data in then baxter burner as a master and made a ISO file that was copied to another CD-R disc.
status: no error
3. Put a DVD-R disc as master with 4,5 GB of data in the baxter burner to make a copie to another DVD-R disc.
Status: The baxter burner took 80% of the data to the iso file then stoped because of read error ( the 80% took 90 min to rip)
So over all I can now make cd copies but not dvd copies.
What do I do now.
Thanks for your helm
BR
Mikael
