DVD Duplication Problem

Hello i just spoke to derek in your support department, i am working on a production called trinity we purchased on of your dvd duplicators (7 copies) and we ae finding that we are making discs but they wont duplicate to 100 per cent they get stuck at 99 per cent and say that the disc has failed, derek was suggesting that we get the duplicator to you and you would give us a replacement in the meantime. my name is oliver griffin i am the assitant editor on this production and my mobile number is [edited] thanks

Hi Oliver, Perhaps before sending the duplicator in, we can try updating the controller firmware. I shall presently send a f/w file to your email address. Please burn the file to a blank CD and place in the top tray; go to UTILITIES/ UPDATE FIRMWARE and follow onscreen instructions. In addition to this, run your master through the PRESCAN facility, also found in the UTILITIES group to see whether it is copyable. If necessary, make a new master by cop[ying in PC and make sure it is 'Finalized'. Let me know through this ticket whether your copies achieve 100%. Kind regards, Derick

thanks for your help regarding our dvd duplicator

seems your machine is fine i had to make some copies from a different dvd recorder and when i duped them they came out at 100 per cent pass discs, so it was the panasonic recorder that was at fault and not your machine
