I have been given an Acard Technology DVD Duplicator but it no longer works. When I turn it on the lights on the drives come on but there is nothing on the display.
I forgot to say that it is a 1 to 3 tower and the users manual says ARS-2030LD, ARS-2032D/2034D although I'm not sure exactly which model it is.

The controller must be dead and needs replacing. We can take the unit in at £50 for estimate then £20 plus parts and vat deducted from the £50 if you go ahead - It will likel ycost around £250 if its just controller failure. Kind regards.

Can I just confirm that you are saying that the aproximate cost of repair is £250? If so would I be better off getting a new one as £250 is more than it costs to purchase one.

Cheryl - I think you could be right - since if we recived it would would need to test it to determine what was wrong and then charge for the parts and labour to repair it. Testing an old machione to identify faults could prove complicated - since even if the controller failed there may then be a problem with the writers etc... £250 really would be a worst case scenario. We cahrge £50 for evaluation then £20 per hour plus parts taken from the £50 deposit. Kind regards.
