faulty pioneer 110D dvd writer

I PURCHASED A PIONEER 110D FROM YOURSELVES ON THE 28/10/05, WHICH STOPPED WORKING YESTERDAY,WINDOWS DEVICE MANAGER WONT RECOGNISE IT AT ALL. IVE SWAPPED IT OUT FOR ANOTHER DVD WRITER WHICH WORKS FINE, I CAN ONLY ASSUME THE DVD WRITER HAS BECOME FAULTY AND I WOULD LIKE TO RETURN IT FOR REPAIR/REPLACEMENT UNDER WARRANTY, ADVICE ON YOUR RETURNS PROCEEDURE WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. THANKS.

i do not have the original packaging for the dvd writer but i'm sure i can get suitable packaging to return it in as i work for a company that buys a lot of pc components. chances are it will be returned in another dvd writers packaging which are a standard size. please let me know if this is an issue. thanks
