Faulty StorDigital CoolBurn Single Target CD Duplicator

I bought a cd / cd-g duplicator on the 6th September. It worked fairly well until three days ago. Now it does not duplicate any cd, but I smelt a burning electrical smell - not sure if that's of any relevance. Power remains on but little happens with the machine. It boots up. It says "iCDR04 V1.09". Underneath it says "1. Copy Disc". When I have inserted a master disc in left tray and a blank disc in the right, I flip both lids down, press start and it says "Waiting... Master Disc. Then after a few seconds it says "Waiting...Blank Disc". It now never goes beyond this stage! It's very frustrating. I have used it only occasionally. I bought it to slowly get around to backing up my karaoke collection. I'm surprised that it's started to play up considering the lightweight use I have had of it. Do you have a returns policy, and can you tell me what to do please? I have discarded the packaging, but would happily send the machine back to you and receive a replacement in my makeshift packaging? In case you ask me what is the serial number like I have already been asked on the pohone, as far as I can see it doesn't have one! It just says "ion CD DUPLICATOR". "iCDRO4".

As you've requested in your recently sent email to me re: RMA request, I will send the faulty item back to you. As I have previously said, I had unfortunately thrown the original packaging away. I will definitely package it thoroughly and securely, so as to ensure full safety in transit. Yours sincerely, Bill.

I sent the faulty item this morning (Wednesday 9th January) back to you by Royal Mail Special Delivery. It is guaranteed to be with you before 1pm tomorrow (Thursday 10th). Can you give me an idea of when I can expect to have a working unit in my posession? Many thanks - Bill
