Problem with DVD-3000 Duplicator

Hello: I have DVD-3000 Duplicator with NEC Burners. I bought it in 2003. It stoped burning DVDs as soon as I place the blank DVDs it opens them right back I have tried every thing, even coppieng DVDs that are not copyrighted factory burned, it burns CDs ok but kikks out DVDs. I belive it is a problem with firmware, I have found Firmware update on your website, I downloaded it and I don't know how to use it. Can you please advise me on what I should do, what test I should try, I barely used this Duplicator. Thanks for your time and I can't wait for your reply. Alex
