SK-PRO 1-7 16x SD7DVDHD

We have been having problems with the SD duplicator where the device has 'hung'. Copying has started but not completed. This has happened on numereous occatiosn and on DVD and CD copying media. We have tried different media for both CD and DVD but we still get the problem. Regards Jonathan Thomas

Dear Jonathan - it may be your firmware needs updating and this could help. Is the problem on all CDs and DVDs and on different masters and with differnt burn speeds - does it happen in disc to disc mode in addition to HDD to Disc mode.

Actually we have never used the HDD to disc mode as we are only copying small volumes of each master. We are a church and make 5-7 copies each week but inthe future we will be neeeding to copy larer volumes when I guess HDD copying will benefit.
It happens on different masters and on all types of media - CD & DVD

If you have a hard drive there will be an option to load dimage - option 8 i think. Alternatively you might need to lower the burn speed - for CD or DVD in setup - option 11 I think. If you need help pls call and ask to speak to derrick on 020 8 293 0777 - kind regards.

The problem exists on all CD's and DVD's - all speeds. We have testes copying to HDD then from HDD to CD. However the system opens drawer 3 of the 7 destination drawers to place the Source disc - not the separate and designated source drive at the top of the unit.
Does this point to the fact that the source drive is 'US'?
