V1.2 problem / Manual missing

Hi there, Our Stordigital V1.2 as a strange problem where on each copy run 2 or 3 CDs don't copy, but the drives at fault change each time. I have lost the manual, so was wondering if there is any way to factory reset, or another solution to get all the drives working again?

HI Joe,
We can try sending the latest firmware version for your duplicator. Can you let me know the current firmware version? Select Utilities and System Info, will be in there.

Hi Joe,
Will send you an E-mail now containing the firmware file. Please burn to root of CD, put in top drive of duplicator and use menu options to update firmware. Kind Regards,

Hi david, Thanks for the e-mail - I successfully updated the firmware. However the problem is still there - usually 3 drives can't detect a disk. Have you any other suggestions?

Hi Joe,
Is the error still happening on different drives every time? Usually a firmware update helps with this kind of error, but it seems in this case the error is caused by a hardware fault on your controller card. You will most likely need a new controller card for your machine in order to get it up and running again.
Depending on the size of your machine (ie. number of targets) a controller is anywhere from £90-180 + VAT.
We can repair the unit for you should you feel uncomfortable doing it yourself.
