Please try the following to see if we can remedy the controller issue.

Try resetting the duplicator to default by powering-up the duplicator whilst holding down the MODE button for about 4secs or until you see 'Clear setup' appear.

If this is successfull, the duplicator will boot-up as normal and display 'Copy'.
At this point, update the controller wih the firmware file I am attaching. To do this, please note the instructions below.

1) Burn the attached file onto a CD
2) Boot up the duplicator and place the new CD disc into it's ROM drive (top one), making sure no other discs are in the machine.
3) Hold down the duplicator's MODE button for about 3-4 seconds until you hear a clicking sound - when you let go of the button, the display changes from 'Copy' to 'Setup'.
4) Press the MODE button seven times until the display reads 'Update'

At this point, if the update disc is in the top drive and the tray is shut, the duplicator updates itself and then asks you to re-start.

Update is now complete.
You are now required to reset your duplicators WRITE/READ speeds (optional); and re-designate the CD ROM DRIVE (THIS MUST BE DONE!!).

To do this -

When the machine has restarted:

1) Hold down the MODE button as before (step 3 above) to reenter 'Setup' mode.
2) Press the GO button until you see 'CD Write Speed' (our setting is MAX) - change the current setting with the MODE button.
3) Next will be the 'DVD Write Speed' - change in the same way if you wish.
4) Press GO button until you see 'CD ROM DRIVE' - This setting MUST be changed from 'Auto' to 'ATA11.1' simply press the MODE button 11 times to accomplish this.

All finished, to get back to 'Copy' mode, press GO 19 times - the display reads 'Setup'

Hold down MODE for 3-4 seconds and let go.
