CD duplicator breakdown

We purchased a 9 cd copier on 22/23 of Sept. 2005. (still looking for receipt.When machine is turned on it just flashes and no buttons work and you cannot open wny cd trays. We use this every week at our church so I desperately need to resolve this problem as quick as possible. Really would appreciate your help. Phil Joiner - Leader, Epping Forest Community Church

Finally managed to find my receipt. Date ordered 21 Sep 2005 order no. PJ02LG-6001-5012. Would really appreciate if the problem could be resolved before the end of the week.

Dear Phil - evaluation of the unit will cost £50 which will be deducted from the cost of repair. It sound slike the controller has failed. If you want to retunr it please complete the following return form. We ahve some good deals on new units at the moment. Kind regards.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Before I pack it up and send it to you could you please answer a few more questions. Is there anything physically I can try to get my machine working again without sending it off? If it is the controller (and I appreciate you do not know for certain)please could you give me some idea of cost including labour and carriage, & VAT. My last concern is if the controller suddenly fails after just 14 months how likely is it to go again and what sort of guarentee comes with the part? Many Thanks.

Phile - the part will have 1 year warranty. Likely cost of repair £150. Kind regards.
