HP1040 lightscribe cd writer
I recently purchased a HP1040 lightscribe DVD Writer via this website. I am operating the device through a 1.25GHz PowerPC G4 Apple Mac with 512 MB Ram, in place of the machine\\\'s own faulty internal drive. Although not stated as compatible, I hastily purchased the aforementioned upon the reccommendation of one of CD-Writer\\\'s staff who assured me that it worked on his friend\\\'s machine, also an Apple Mac. It initally seemed to read CDRs and play music CDs, but not DVDs. It has since ceased to function. I was advised to contact Apple Directly who suggested that I return the device from whence it came. I believe that I am well within my rights to do this so long as the purchase meets your refund policy criteria. Ideally I would like to make an exchange or acquire a refund for my payment. I assume that a receipt shall be required to enable me to facilitate this transaction. I know I have said slither in my posession, I just don\\\'t seem to recall where, in my brisk efficiency, I filed the damn thing. How might you advise that I best proceed?
