The SD10 duplicator is dispatched in CD-to-CD = "Yes" mode (See page 35 of the manual). In this mode, the HDD option is by-passed. The duplicator will only produce copies with the master disc placed in the ROM drive.
To access and use HDD partitions, the SD10 must be placed in the CD-to-CD = "No" mode.

To change the CD-to-CD option; after boot-up finishes and the display reads "Copy" :-

1. Hold down MODE button for approx.4 secs then release; the display changes to "Setup".
2. Press the GO button once to enter the "Setup" menu group.
3. The first option displayed should be CD-to-CD setting which can be changed by pressing the MODE button.
4. If a change is made to the setting, pressing the GO button once will return the duplicator to "Copy" mode.
5. Once the display reads "Copy", press the MODE button to scroll to the "Load" option which should now be available.



If the SD10 has been reset to the factory default settings, the following changes should be made to the configuration after the duplicator finishes its boot-up routine:-

1. Enter the Setup menu by holding down the MODE button for approx. 4 secs. The display will change to " Setup".
2. Use the GO button to move through the menu options and use the MODE button to make changes to the settings.
3. Writing speed for CDs can be set to MAX. (optional - the default setting is 32x).
4. Writing speed for DVDs can be set to 16x (optional - the default setting is 4x).
5. Read speed should be set to MAX.
6. The "CDROM Drive" = AUTO must be changed to = ATA 11.1 (if " CD-to-CD" = Yes option is required).

These are the only changes to the default settings; to return the SD10 to "Copy" mode -

1. Press the GO button 17-18 times to step through the current menu until the last item is passed (Startup Command - Copy), the display then shows "Setup".
2. Hold down the MODE button for approx. 4secs. - the duplicator should now be in "Copy" mode.
